Newborn Pictures

With the craziness of packing and the big move, we didn't have a lot of time to have newborn pictures taken of Sydney.  We also figured with having a nice digital camera, it might be something that we could do ourselves.  So, with the help of my mom and a few cute props, we took some pictures of a super sleepy Sydney when she was about a week old.  The pictures turned out really cute, but I knew they could be kicked up quite a few notches with some special editing, so my sweet & talented sister-in-law Marissa went to work on them.  I think they turned out amazing!  {Thank you, Marissa, for all of your hard work on these pictures!}  And, if you are in the Portland area, she has her own photography business.  You can check out her portfolio here!

Sydney's birth announcement

I loved how these pictures turned out and am looking forward to getting some family pictures taken next month for our Christmas cards!
